Hi, for information on when VMware is releasing a fix I would regularly check the KB article which deals with the subject: http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=2033315. It seems you can use VMware Converter 4.3 to convert to ESXi 5.1.

A downgrade will actually be a reinstallation of the previous version, as long as you haven’t upgraded the VM hardware version to version 9. I think it’s better to go for Converter 4.3!

An updated converter has been released by VMware that fixes this problem. Go to the VMware site

Leave all those difficult manipulations and just download and install VMware vCenter version 5.0.1 Build 875114. This would do the thing
