Note: It seems this problem not always pops up, sometimes passwords >8 characters seem to work.
In this article I want to share an error that might (will?) occur when your using a password which is longer than 8 characters for the administrator@vsphere.local password.
The installation of the model manager will report the following error:
“Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click quit, the application will close immediately.”
After using a password of max 8 characters for the administrator@vsphere.local, installation will complete as expected.

Would it be possible to share the password you are using that causes this error. We have tested with passwords greater than 8 characters. It is possible that some special characters may be causing this problem.

I got this problem while reinstalling IAAS server with VCAC. Resolve the same via deleting old database and recreation
