    As an alternative to this rather manual process you could use PowerCLI as documented by Jonathan Medd (http://www.jonathanmedd.net/2012/02/managing-vcenter-plugins-with-powercli.html) or if you prefer a GUI there’s Ricky El-Qasem’s vCenter plugin wizard (http://read.virtualizeplanet.com/?p=381).
