Today my colleague Ronald de Jong and myself presented at the NLVMUG UserCon 2018! We talked about the combination vRealize Automation (vRA) and NSX: vRA is used for automation & orchestration, NSX for network virtualisation and security.
With vRA you can create self-service portal to provide a full private cloud experience. The self-service portal can be used to provide (automatically deploy) VMs and/or applications to/for your users. NSX adds networking & security functionality to this.
The combination vRA and NSX allows you to deploy networks on request (as part of a blueprint), and makes it also possible to add micro segmentation to your blueprint.
