Last week I attended VMware Partner Leadership Summit (PLS) together with my co-worker Han Rademaker. Partner Leadership Summit offers partner the opportunity to engage with VMware executives and industry peers. Partner Leadership Summit is attended by key VMware thought leaders and other industry experts: Pat Gelsinger, Sanjay Poonen, Raghu Raghuram, Shawn Bass and many others.

During the event there were two award ceremonies: one for each region (Americas, APAC and EMEA) and a global ceremony.
This year PQR was awarded both Global and EMEA VMware Solution Provider of the Year!

Due to the focus of PQR on the full SDDC stack, including vSphere, NSX, vSAN and the vRealize Suite Cloud Management Platform and the ability to position, sell, implement and manage these solutions PQR received this award. On top of this is, PQR is the only Dutch Premier Solution Provider that holds all 13 Solution Provider competenties, including the SDDC competency and the recently released brand new VMware Cloud on AWS competency. PQR’s highly skilled consultants are certified on the highest level and posses VCP, VCAP, VCIX and VCDX certifications.
Receiving this award is a great achievement of the entire PQR organization.
I was in the fortunate position to receive the EMEA award from Jean-Philippe Barleaza (EMEA VP Channel, Alliances and General Business) and Jean-Pierre Brulard (Senior Vice President and General Manager for EMEA), and to receive the Global award together with my colleague Han Rademaker from VMware CEO Pat Gelsinger.
