This year I have submitted two sessions! If you think they are interesting (or you just want to meet), you can vote for them:). My sessions are:
- Session 1790: OS & Application Licensing in a Virtualized Environment
Although virtualization is common practice, many people are still facing questions regarding licensing of Operating Systems and Applications in a virtualized environment. In this session you will learn how you should license Microsoft Windows Server in a vSphere environment. You will also learn how to license Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle when using virtual machines. Furthermore, the licensing consequences when using VMware Site Recovery Manager will be covered. - Session 1795: Infrastructure as a Service – An Architectural Overview
In a cloud model three layers are defined: Software, Platform and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). In this session you will learn which functionalities are generally available in an IaaS cloud. The second part of the presentation will discuss the actual implementation of an IaaS cloud using VMware products. The presenter will discuss the functionality of, and architectural relationship between VMware vSphere, vCloud Director, Service Manager, vCenter Operations, Orchestrator and Chargeback.
Thanks for your vote. You can filter using the Filter Option at the top right, use “Viktor” as keyword and things are going to be fine. Yes, that’s Viktor with an “k”.
Also take a look at the great session of some fellow Dutchmen, filter and look for:
