On Tuesday March 7 a meetup will take place on “Real-life experience on Cloud Brokerage and Orchestration“. Industry experts of Rackspace, Cloudbilling and PQR will share their experiences from the field on this topic.
Together with Tom de Groot (Rackspace), Viktor van den Berg (PQR) and Thijs van Hofwegen (CloudBilling), we will provide you with use-cases, challenges, pitfalls and success stories regarding the implementation of cloud brokerage and orchestration concepts.
The Meetup will take place at Rackspace, Radarweg 535 in Amsterdam. Doors are open at 15:30, the meetup end around 19:00. For the full agenda, I recommend to visit the Meetup page.
Koen van Schijndel of Weolcan invited me to talk at this meetup, and asked to share my real-life experiences on the topic of cloud management, orchestration and self-service. If you’re interested in this topic, RVSP and join me for some “Real world cloud management with VMware vRealize Suite“:
At this meetup, Viktor van den Berg will talk about VMware’s Cloud Management Platform vRealize Suite. With vRealize Suite you can monitor, manage and orchestrate a great variety of virtual and/or cloud environments. vRealize Suite includes a self-service portal which allows users to request IT services such as virtual machines, applications, containers and more.
Based on his experiences in the field, Viktor will talk you through the most important features of the solution and discuss some of the projects he was involved in. Focus will be: self-service, capacity management, automation & orchestration. Viktor will also talk about challenges your organization might face when you start working on self-service and orchestration.
Of course this meetup if a free event, but please RSVP at the meetup website if you’re coming!
Hope to CU @ March 7 in Amsterdam.
