On day 2, we have about 18(!) technical breakout sessions on subjects like Azure, software defined datacenter, containers, monitoring, data management and end user computing (EUC). Sessions are presented by colleagues, customers and partners. Rody Kossen of AWL will talk about 3D graphics in a Citrix VDI environment. We also have Frank Denneman, Senior Staff Architect at VMware, who will share the latest news on VMware Cloud on AWS.
Building the SDDC
Together with my colleagues Ronald de Jong and Remon Lam we will present a track (3 sessions) on how to build a software defined datacenter. Ronald will focus on the software defined infrastructure (vSAN, NSX, Nutanix) where as Remon will discuss container technology (Docker, Kubernetes), based on his experiences in the field. I will discuss the subject cloud management and cloud management platforms. If your world is software defined, you want to learn more on container technology or you are looking for a cloud management solution…be sure to attend this track.
