A milestone achieved: today I’ve published my 100th post at viktorious.nl – new style. New style? Yes, before March 2012 viktorious.nl hosted my personal blog about photography. After my switch to PQR in november 2011 and my changed role at the Dutch VMUG I decided that viktorious.nl should host my own blog about virtualization & cloud computing.
Now 8 months later, viktorious.nl is hosting 100 articles and it’s getting more and more popular in the virtualization & cloud computing blogosphere. Recently I’ve started a series of articles on vCenter Operations Manager & Suite which is gaining good attention. Another serie of articles was on Oracle licensing in a vSphere environment, this discussion was raised (again) around VMworld 2012. Also articles on VMware vCloud Director are quite populair. And let’s don’t forget the various articles that describe specific articles people run into using vSphere or SRM.
Another important step is viktorious.nl has its first site supporter. It’s a company most of you will know, probably because of their popular backup/replication solution “Veeam Backup & Replication” for both VMware & HyperV. On top of this Veeam also offers some monitoring & reporting solutions including the SCOM Veeam management pack for VMware (formerly known as nWorks). Also check their Free Backup solution for VMware & HyperV, or just visit veeam.com for more information.
Okay, to end up…I hope you enjoy viktorious.nl and it offers you the information you’re looking for. If you want to get updated when new articles are published, follow the RSS stream or subscribe to the blog via e-mail by entering your e-mail address on the right.
I am looking forward to all 2013 developments in the virtualization & cloud computing industry. This blog will update you on all things happening from my perspective! CU!
