Yesterday VMware’s Forum 2013 hit The Netherlands. At VMware Forum 2013, VMware brings together everyone who has a professional stake in driving cloud innovation, growth and adoption. VMware Forum offers a mix of keynotes and good sessions and various subjects.
This year blogger Eric Sloof together with Jeremy van Doorn of VMware created a Genius Bar at VMware Forum NL. The genius bar was staffed by some of the leading bloggers in The Netherlands, ready to answer all VMware related questions. Duco Reule, Joep Piscaer, Eric Sloof, Bouke Groenescheij, Gabrie van Zanten and yours truly answered questions about vSphere, View, vCenter Operations and Mirage. During all breaks throughout the day, the genius bar was very busy. The whiteboard surface of the bar helped explaining virtualization and cloud concepts. Always bring whiteboard markers and no permanent markers because of obvious reasons (we actually experienced).
A big thank you to all attendees that stepped by to ask questions, we hope we answered your questions satisfactorily. I think I speak for all the ‘geniuses’ when I say we really enjoyed this opportunity. A big thank you to Eric, Jeremy and everybody else who worked behind the scenes on this initiative! We will be big next year 😉
