Yes it’s true, as of January 2019 I will join the Dutch VMware team as a Solutions Engineer!
After a little more than 7 years at PQR, it’s time for a next step. At PQR I started as a consultant, and had the opportunity to develop my skills as a senior consultant, solution architect and technology officer. In these different roles I focussed on the latest developments in the datacenter and, extending the datacenter to the cloud. During my professional life I’ve been working with the different solutions VMware has to offer: first of all vSphere (of course), but during the years I’ve also gained extensive experience on the vRealize solutions, as well as NSX and vSAN. I worked with different customers on these solutions, of course together with my great colleagues at PQR…..and with succes: PQR was awarded Global Solution Provider of the year, a great achievement. Thank you all for a great time….but now it’s time to move on!
I’m very happy to join the local VMware SE team, and work together with great people I actually already know already pretty well. I will be joining the team as a general SE in the commercial team, and I will be talking with existing and new customers about the great solutions VMware has to offer. Of course I will use the experience I have on the different solutions that are in the VMware SDDC. On top of this I am also looking forward to talk with customers about EUC (yes, this will also be on my radar) and the different cloud services that VMware has in the portfolio, including VMware Cloud on AWS and the recently launched Cloud Automation Services. Of course I will also continue blogging at viktorious.nl, so stay tuned for great new posts in the 2019!
For me it’s a great step to move to VMware and I am really looking forward to 2019. Let’s get it started!
