It’s almost time for the 2015 edition of the NLVMUG Usercon. The NLVMUG Usercon is successor of the very successful Dutch VMUG Event, the annual meeting of the Netherlands VMware Usergroup.
Mark your agenda and head to ‘s-Hertogenbosch (or call it Den Bosch if it’s easier for you) on March 19th for some good keynotes, breakout sessions and an NSX bootcamp. Mister Joe Baguley, CTO EMEA for VMware, will open the day. After the keynote four parallel breakout sessions wil run dealing with subjects like vSphere 6, NSX, Automation & Orchestration, vSAN, vVOLs and more. If VMware’s solutions are on your agenda, be sure to attend this event!
vRealize Automation: Advanced Service Designer Deep Dive
Join me at the NLVMUG Usercon in my breakout session about vRealize Automation: Advanced Service Designer (ASD) Deep Dive. Last year I presented at the NLVMUG together with Arnim van Lieshout on how to deploy VMs with vRA. We talked about how to use vRealize Orchestrator to integrate the deployment process with IPAM and configuration management tooling.
This year I will be talking about the ASD, another part of vRA, which is tightly integrated with vRealize Orchestrator. I will show how it works and how you can use it to deploy anything-you-want-as-a-service. You can also use the ASD to add custom actions to existing objects in your vRA inventory. I will also show you some best practices I’m using in my daily work.
My session vRealize Automation: Advanced Service Designer Deep Dive is scheduled between 11:30-12:10 in room Limousin 3. After my session ends, just remain seated because my PQR colleague Ruben Spruijt will talk you through latest developments in VDI space on how to use vSphere 6 with NVIDIA GRID technology. This session is scheduled between 12:15-12:55.
